Heggen-Stevens

Bethany Heggen, Fargo, and Lucas Stevens, East Grand Forks, Minn., announce their engagement.

Parents are Bruce and Mary Heggen, Park River, N.D.; and Stephen and Mary Jane Stevens, Huron, S.D.

Bethany graduated in 2001 from Park River High School and in 2005 she graduated from the University of Mary, Bismarck, with a bachelor’s degree in nursing. After the wedding, she will be working in the emergency center at Altru Health Systems, Grand Forks.

Lucas graduated in 2005 from Huron High School and in 2010 he graduated from South Dakota State University, Brookings, with a bachelor’s degree in wildlife and fisheries management. He is a hydrologic tech with the United States Geological Survey, Grand Forks.

A Feb. 16 wedding is planned at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, followed by a reception at City Hall, both in Park River.
