Marjorie married Warren Rieke on April 20, 1948 at the First Methodist Church in Fargo. She was a homemaker and mother for most of her life-a career which she truly enjoyed and excelled. She worked as an RN at St. John's Hospital in Fargo for several years. She served as Clerk of the Erie School Board for many years, sewed for her family, friends and anyone who asked and she loved to garden. She was always available for coffee, cookies and conversation. And, she never turned down a game of cards.

Warren M. Rieke of Fargo formerly Erie, ND died on Wednesday January 16, 2013 at Villa Maria under the care of Hospice of the Red River Valley.

Warren Morrow Rieke was born on March 12, 1925 in Erie, ND the oldest son of Louis and Era (Burgess) Rieke. He was raised on the farm and attended school in Erie until he started farming with his family.

Warren married Marjorie Henderson on April 20, 1948. They farmed together outside Erie for several years before moving to Fargo. In Fargo, Warren worked for the railroad, City of Fargo, George Haggart,

Swanston Equipment and Paul Horn Farm. He loved farming and visiting with family and friends. He was a friend of Bill W for 37 years.

Margie and Warren moved back to Erie in 1959 and maintained their home there until 2008. They loved their Erie home and family and friends, and everyone enjoyed going to Erie-their door was always open and if you saw them sitting on the front porch and didn't stop in you would hear about it. Their children and grandchildren and their friends have fond memories of playing school on the front porch or the attic, their famous s'mores at the barbeque pit or breakfast in the tree house.

They retired in the early 80s and started spending the winters in Arizona. They made wonderful friends at Orangewood Village and Mission Bell Methodist Church and were very active in events at both. Warren tended his orange trees and Margie never passed a yard sale. In 1994 when their youngest daughter was killed in a vehicle accident, their north and south friends were a strength and kindness to them which they great appreciated and cherished. And in 2006 when they moved to Trollwood Village they made more great friends.

Marjorie and Warren are survived by their son Larry (Terri) of Oklahoma City and daughter Karen Rivers of Moorhead, six grandchildren Seth (Nicole) Holden, Jessica Holden (Ryan Legvold) and Rachel Holden (Sean Murray) all Fargo, Charlotte Rivers, St. Paul and Jonathan and Christopher Rieke of Oklahoma City, and a very special great granddaughter Jeanne.
