Kjerstin Buboltz and Andreas Oines, Bismarck, were married Oct. 20, 2012, at Bethel Lutheran Church, followed by a reception at the North Dakota State College of Science, both in Wahpeton, N.D.

Parents are LaRuth and Gregory Buboltz, Wahpeton; and Rita Oines, Oslo, Norway.
Attendants were Matt Miller, Wahpeton; Sarah Walker, Bismarck; Charlene Gettings, Chicago; Chelsey Cullen and Eric Klopfenstein, both of Las Vegas; Erik Buboltz, Freiburg, Germany; Charly Buch, Elk River, Minn.; and Brandon Balfanz, Bloomington, Minn.
Kjerstin graduated in 2003 from Wahpeton High School and in 2007 she graduated from the University of North Dakota Grand Forks, with a bachelor’s degree in honors. She earned a second bachelor’s degree in 2008 in cytotechnology from UND and in 2011 she earned a master’s degree as a pathologists’ assistant from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in North Chicago, Ill. She is a pathologist’s assistant at Essentia Health 32nd Avenue Clinic, Fargo.
Andreas graduated in 1999 from Oslo Katedralskole and in 2003 he graduated from Universitetet I Oslo with a bachelor’s degree in computer programming. He earned a second bachelor’s degree in biology at UND in 2010 and he is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in physics at UND. From 1999-2000, he served as a corporal with the Norwegian Air Force.
The couple will make their home in Fargo.
