Lee Allen Dybsand

Lee Dybsand, Horace, ND, passed away on January 25, 2013. Lee was born on March 15, 1953 at Granite Falls, MN to Romo and Mary Dybsand. He graduated from high school in Verona, ND. He then attended the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks.

At age 14, Lee began working with his dad on various grain elevator projects for Hogenson Construction. He continued there until 1990, and then became a partner of the Scott Moeller Co., Moorhead, MN. In 2000 he formed his own company, Agri-Resources, Inc. of Fargo, ND providing equipment, design and installation services for the seed conditioning and commodity processing industries in the region.

Lee married Linda (Magill) Dybsand of Verona in 1976. Their beloved daughter Lauren Lee was born in 1990. Lee had many interests including antiques, clocks, steam engines, Indian rugs, German cars, art, used equipment, cheese balls and beer, but his greatest interest was people. He formed a personal connection with everyone he knew, including family, friends, employees and business associates.

Lee had a kind heart and did many little endearing things for those he loved, but often with a tongue-in-cheek twist and a mischievous smile. There was always a spring in his step and a twinkle in his eye for everyone he met.

Lee was preceded in death by his father Romo Dybsand, grandmother Selma Lanning and mother-in-law Norma Magill.

He is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Linda, and their daughter Lauren of Horace and her special friend Preston Hoepfner; his mother Mary Dybsand of Ottertail, MN; father-in-law Roland Magill of Lisbon, ND and his friend Jane Hottman; brother-in-law Steve Magill (Debbie) and family of Menomonee Falls, WI; sister-in-law Becky Purdy (Pat) and family of Elk River, MN; brother-in-law Chuck Magill (Kausha) and family of Verona; and a number of aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visitation: Thursday from 5 to 7 , with a prayer service at 7 all in West Funeral Home Chapel, West Fargo, ND.

Funeral: Friday, February 1, 2013 at 11 in Hope Lutheran Church, South Campus, Fargo, ND

Burial: Oakwood Cemetery, Lisbon, ND
