BISMARCK – The North Dakota Department of Transportation has issued a travel advisory for the central region of the state south of I-94 to the South Dakota border due to snow and blowing snow, causing reduced visibility.

This includes the cities of Steele, Sterling, Napoleon, Fort Yates, Jamestown, Ellendale, Edgeley and their surrounding areas.

Travel alerts mean drivers can still travel, but they may encounter areas of challenging winter weather driving conditions and should use caution.
