FARGO – Lasagna is one of my part-Italian husband’s favorite foods.
I like it, too, but it’s not an easy dish to make.
One of my least-favorite steps is trying to keep the lasagna noodles from sticking together or failing that, trying to pull the cooked lasagna noodles apart without ripping them to shreds.
But thanks to a new discovery I made recently in the grocery store, the noodles are now the easiest step in preparing the tasty dish.
Creamette’s oven-ready lasagna saves time and tastes as good as a regular lasagna noodle.
The noodles do not have to be boiled, so once your sauce and cheese are ready, simply layer it all together and bake.
The lasagna noodles expand when baked, so you will need to leave some space between them when layering.
There is a recipe on the back of the box, but I used my own recipe with no problems.
The lasagna has 210 calories per 2-ounce serving.
An 8-ounce box of Creamette oven-ready lasagna sells for about $2.
