Levi & Elsie Carlson

Levi and Elsie (Wrede) Carlson, Lisbon, N.D., formerly Nome, N.D., will celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary at an open house from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday at Prospect Manor, Lisbon.

They were married Feb. 28, 1948, in Valley City, N.D. Levi farmed in the Nome area until he retired and Elsie worked at Community Memorial Hospital in Lisbon until she retired.

They have five children, Esther (Glen) Rockwell and Naomi Foster, Seattle; DeLoris (Darold) Zenker, Mandan, N.D.; Eunice Carlson, Davis, Calif.; and Carol (Duane) Wadeson, Leonard, N.D.; and four grandchildren.
