Betty J. Hoppe

Betty Jean Hoppe entered into heaven surrounded by the love of family and friends on Friday, March 1, 2013, while at Essential Health, Fargo, ND. Betty was born July 11, 1958, and grew up on the family farm. She attended grade school in Comstock and graduated from Barnesville High School in 1976. She then continued her education at Interstate Business College. Betty worked at Motel 75, Double D Truck stop and Camelot Cleaners and always took pride in her work. Over the years she cared for many children who called her “grandma.” Next to Betty’s picture in her yearbook it read “Friendship never goes out of style” which is a motto that followed Betty all her life. She enjoyed cross stitching, plastic canvas, crossword puzzles, playing the organ and spending time on the computer. She will be dearly missed.

Betty is survived by her mother, Vivian Hoppe of Moorhead, MN; brother, Dennis (Mona) Hoppe of Barnesville, MN; sisters, Lois (Don) Williams of Moorhead, MN, Margaret (Roger) Lee of Perley, MN, Joyce (Reese) Cottrell of North Pole, AK, and several nieces and nephews.
