‘Dining with Diabetes’ classes slated

FARGO – The North Dakota State University Cass County Extension Office and Dakota Medical Foundation will offer “Dining with Diabetes North Dakota Style” education programs from 1 to 3:30 p.m. March 19 and 26 and April 2 and 9.

FARGO – The North Dakota State University Cass County Extension Office and Dakota Medical Foundation will offer “Dining with Diabetes North Dakota Style” education programs from 1 to 3:30 p.m. March 19 and 26 and April 2 and 9.

The lesson series is open to those with diabetes or pre-diabetes and their family members and caretakers.

Attendees will learn how to prepare meals that are healthy, easy to prepare and taste good. They also will learn information on nutrition, meal planning, exercise and how to understand diabetes-related medical tests.

The cost is $25 and $10 for family members or caregivers who will be assisting the diabetic.

Classes on March 19 and 26 will be held at the Cass County Annex, 1010 2nd Ave. S., Fargo, and classes on April 2 and 9 will be held at the Dakota Medical Foundations new health learning center at 4141 28th Ave. S., Fargo.
