Walter and Nancy (Gessell) Jonas, Fargo, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house on March 16 at the Holiday Inn, Fargo, followed by a family dinner.
Walter and Nancy (Gessell) Jonas, Fargo, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house on March 16 at the Holiday Inn, Fargo, followed by a family dinner.
They were married March 18, 1963, by a justice of the peace in South Dakota. Walter worked as a truck driver until he retired and Nancy ran the CTM Café in Fargo until she retired.
They have three children, Crystal (Joel) Noreen, Christine, N.D.; Ty (Peggy) Jonas, Bismarck; and Misty (Josh) Carriere, Colfax, N.D.; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
