‘Egg’citing Easter events this week and next

The Fargo-Moorhead area will be hopping with Easter egg hunts and related family activities the next week. Here’s a look at some upcoming events, which are free unless otherwise noted.

The Fargo-Moorhead area will be hopping with Easter egg hunts and related family activities the next week.

Here’s a look at some upcoming events, which are free unless otherwise noted.

Third Annual EGGstravaganza, 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Calvary Church, 2801 Village Green Blvd., Moorhead. Includes breakfast, egg hunt, Bible story and crafts. 701-866-6693

Annual Easter Egg Hunt, 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday, Plymouth Congregational Church, 901 N. Broadway, Fargo. Children ages 1 to 12 (with adult) will create their own eggs. Refreshments served. (701) 235-9226.

YMCA Easter Eggstravaganza, 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Fercho YMCA, 400 1st Ave. S., Fargo. Inaugural family carnival includes egg hunt from 1:30 to 2 p.m., Easter basket building, games, arts and crafts, obstacle course, photo booth, splash party from 3:30 to 4 p.m., and a petting zoo. $5 for kids, adults free. West Fargo Park District Easter Egg Hunt, 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Veteran’s Memorial Arena, 1201 7th Ave. E., West Fargo. Hunt for eggs, meet the Easter Bunny and play on inflatable games. Other activities include a bunny and baby chick area, games and crafts. For ages 2 to 8. Cost is $3 per participant. (701) 433-5360.

24th Easter Eggstravaganza, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. March 29 and 30, Yunker Farm, 1201 28th Ave. N., Fargo. Meet the Easter Bunny, create spring crafts, and dye eggs. Egg hunts held at 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. both days. $5 per person, children age 1 and under and members free. (701) 232-6102.
