Free dental care offered June 14-15 in Bemidji

BEMIDJI, Minn. – The Minnesota Dental Association and the Minnesota Dental Foundation are bringing the Minnesota Mission of Mercy to the Sanford Center here June 14-15.

BEMIDJI, Minn. – The Minnesota Dental Association and the Minnesota Dental Foundation are bringing the Minnesota Mission of Mercy to the Sanford Center here June 14-15.

Free dental care for children and adults who are uninsured, underinsured and not able to obtain dental treatment will be provided by more than 1,000 volunteers, including dentists, hygienists, dental assistants, translators and others.

Doors open at 5:30 a.m., and free care will include cleanings, fillings, extractions and limited treatment for partial dental appliances.

Advance sign up is not required, and patients will be seen on a first come, first served basis each day. Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
