Tuesday Tip: Frozen grapes a pretty way to keep wine chilled

The sweltering days of summer may already seem like a hazy, humid memory, but I intend to keep up our weekly tradition of starting a backyard bonfire and sipping a glass of wine until the snow flies.

On those nights when a glass of Pinot Gris takes a while to go down (which, frankly, isn’t very often), I’ve found a perfect solution to keep my white wine perfectly chilled without watering it down.

My “second mom,” Mary, shared this entertaining tip that’s both pretty and practical.

1. Wash and dry a cluster of grapes (Both green and red varieties work, but I tend to think green looks prettier).

2. Remove from stems and spread on paper plate.

3. Place in freezer for at least an hour or two, until each fruit is thoroughly fro-zen.

4. Drop three or four grapes in each glass and enjoy.

5. They even make for a delicious treat when you finish off your glass.
