MEDORA, N.D. — One of the oldest buildings in Medora will be demolished, but one next to it was spared the wrecking ball.

The Bismarck Tribune reports (http://bit.ly/1fn9NdN ) the Theodore Roosevelt Medora Foundation will move the Dakota Cyclery building to an empty lot near the Fudge Depot. But the foundation will tear down the adjacent saloon and pizza place.

A modernized replica for beer and pizza and a ticketing office will fill the empty space.

The foundation's plans to destroy both buildings were denied at a recent zoning board meeting.
