A couple of years ago, the good folks at Livibility, a site which rates America’s best places to live and work, called Fargo’s downtown district “hip and urbane, with plenty of cool attractions.”
But how often do you get out and roam around? It’s easy to stroll the streets during the Downtown Fargo Street Fair. Grab a smoothie, a fry-bread taco and some kind of garden ornament and call it a day. But there’s no need to wait until next July to get a taste of just how “hip and urbane” our downtown is. Tonight, the Downtown Community Partnership along with Mosaic Catering and Bergseth Brothers is putting on Kegs and Canvas Art and Ale Walk
Attendees can visit 24 downtown businesses to see what they have to offer. At each stop, live artists will be working to draw attention (no pun intended) to the fine art that can be purchased right here at home. Samples of craft beer will also be poured as you shop. The event runs from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. tonight throughout downtown.
