DICKINSON, N.D. - Construction of the Sanford Health Dickinson Clinic is moving along so well that its tentative opening date has been moved up by four months.
The 85,000-square-foot clinic will open in February rather than next summer, officials announced during a hard-hat tour of the facility Tuesday. The building should be complete in January, leaving time for the Sanford staff to move in.
Ground was broken on the clinic in December. The clinic is more than three times the size of the current Dickinson Clinic.
The Sanford Health Dickinson Clinic will add services and staff, including infusion services for cancer patients, said Amy Kreidt, administrator of the Dickinson Clinic.
Sanford has hired six physicians in the last 18 months and plans to add more as construction moves forward, Kreidt said. It will also continue to have partnerships with specialists from Sanford’s Bismarck staff.
