FARGO - We know it gets cold here in Fargo, but is it cold enough for an igloo?

Two friends in Fargo are finding out, and they are getting some help from the community.

Matt Brunsvold and Warren Christensen were surfing the web when they came across the idea to build an igloo.

They wanted to use the challenge as a way to make a memorable winter with their sons.

The two originally asked for donations from coffee shops and neighbors, but as they started making it, they realized that the 50 to 60 milk cartoons they were filling with water each week to make the bricks weren't going to cut it, so they made a phone call.

"We ended up actually calling Class Clay just on a whim thinking, Well, would they sell us, give us cartoons? They didn't even ask why," Matt Brunsvold said. "I wanted to tell them 'I'm building an igloo!'"

Cass Clay Creamery sold 1,000 cartoons at 13 cents each.
