Dalene (Wadeson) (Nudell) Trende, 87, of Mundelein IL passed away January 13, 2014 at the Midwest Palliative & Hospice Care Center in Glenview, IL. Dalene Vivian Wadeson was born on November 13, 1926 in Clifton Township, Cass County, Alice ND to Harry and Clara (Easton) Wadeson. Dalene graduated from Buffalo High School, Buffalo ND and Moorhead State Teachers College in Moorhead MN.

Dalene was united in marriage to Dale Edward Nudell on August 25, 1948 in Buffalo ND. They made their home in Marion ND and were blessed with three daughters and one son. Dale passed away in May 1959. Dalene moved her family to Browns Valley MN in 1961 where she taught English until her marriage to Fred Trende in June 1971. After she remarried, Dalene moved to Rosholt SD and was an active member of the Trondhjem Lutheran Church. She enjoyed gardening, quilting, music, stamp collecting, traveling, genealogy and was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, Oregon-California Trails Association, and the Cass County Historical Society. When Fred retired from farming they moved to Watertown SD. After Fred's death she lived in Monticello MN, Delano MN and Mundelein IL.

Dalene (Wadeson) (Nudell) Trende, 87, of Mundelein IL passed away January 13, 2014 at the Midwest Palliative & Hospice Care Center in Glenview, IL. Dalene is survived by her daughters Donna (Milo) Magnan, Delano MN; Carla (Jan) Medbery, Mundelein IL; son David (Cyndi) Nudell, Edmond OK; and son-in-law Paul Schaunaman, Browns Valley MN; twelve grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren and two step great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry & Clara Wadeson; stepmother, Jessie Wadeson; sister, Vivian Wadeson; husbands Dale Nudell and Fred Trende; daughter, Kathleen Schaunaman; and daughter-in-law, Mary Nudell.

Her funeral will take place in the spring at the Buffalo Lutheran Church with burial following in the Buffalo ND Cemetery. Memorials may be sent to the Buffalo Cemetery Association, Attention Carmen Gubrud, 3406 139th Avenue SE, Buffalo ND 58011.

Dalene was a loving wife, a loving and patient mother and was cherished as a grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be greatly missed by her family and all who knew her.
