Teri met Craig Schafer and in 1991 and her circle of love was complete with the birth of her youngest daughter Shelby Lee.

Teri loved the country, the lake, horses, interior design, cooking and traveling, but most of all she loved her girls and her grandson, Ryker. Teri loved talking to people- she was always bubbly and always passionate about other human beings. You knew the moment she entered a room and you always felt the sunshine leave when she left. When she was diagnosed her love of art became her therapy. She poured her heart and soul into paintings that she got lost in for hours.

Teri was so passionate about her girls and her grandson. She was never afraid to fight and did it with her head held high, no matter the cost, for those four parts that made up her heart.

Teri was preceded in death by her mother and father; grandparents; great grandparents and some special family friends.

Teri is survived by her daughters, Josalyn Pierce, Fargo ND, Jenna Pierce, Fargo ND, Shelby (Che) Pierce, Fargo ND; her grandson Ryker; her sisters, Kathy Hansen, Gackle, ND, Kim (Curt) Roper, Tioga ND, Lori (Troy) Marden, Grand Junction CO; Kayleen who was like a daughter to her; two step children, Ashley and Austyn Valdez and Jessica and Justin, a very special niece and nephew.
