Luella Wiest, 79, Wishek, died Monday, Nov. 26, 2001, in St. Alexius Hospital, Bismarck, N.D.

Luella Wolf was born March 16, 1922, near Wishek, where she grew up and attended school. She graduated from Wishek High School in 1939. On Sept. 29, 1946, she married Helmond Wiest in Wishek. They farmed near Wishek. She also taught ceramics classes for many years.

She is survived by her husband; two sons, James (Charlene), Minneapolis, Paul (Annie), Pittsburgh; a brother, Richard (Darlene), Wishek; and three grandchildren.

Visitation: Today from 10-7:30, with a prayer service at 7:30, in Dahlstrom Funeral Home, Wishek, and one hour before the funeral in the church.

Funeral: Friday at 10:30 in St. Luke Lutheran Church, Wishek.

Burial: St. Luke Lutheran Cemetery, Wishek.
