Rick Dean Ambers, 44, Spiritwood, died Monday, Nov. 26, 2001, in Mercy Hospital, Valley City, N.D.
Mr. Ambers was born Feb. 28, 1957, in Harvey, N.D. He moved with his family in 1958 to New Rockford, N.D., where he grew up and attended school. In 1977 he moved to Moses Lake, Wash., where he worked as a fork lift operator for Americold for 19 years. In 2000 he moved to Spiritwood.
He is survived by a son, Rick Dean II, Ritzville, Wash.; two daughters, Ashley May Ambers, Jessica Ambers, both Ritzville; two sisters, Lois Ulrich, Spiritwood, Marsha Pahl, Carrington, N.D.; and two grandchildren.
Visitation: Today from 9-8 and Friday from 9-noon in Evans Funeral Home, New Rockford.
Funeral: Friday at 2 in First Lutheran Church, New Rockford.
Burial: Viking Cemetery near Maddock, N.D.
