Victor Cink, Grand Forks, N.D.

Victor Cink, 85, Grand Forks, died Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2001, in 4000 Valley Square Nursing Home, Grand Forks.

Mr. Cink was born May 23, 1916, in Abie, Neb. He attended school in Nebraska and North Dakota, graduating from Stirum (N.D.) High School in 1934. He worked for farms near Crete, N.D., and Stirum before working for the Civilian Conservation Corps in 1937. He married Bertha Hempler Sept. 6, 1938, in Milbank, S.D. They farmed near Wyndmere, N.D., until the late 1970s. They then moved to Wahpeton. She died in 1990. He entered the nursing home in 1999.

He is survived by two sons, David (Laurie), Grand Forks, Vance, Glenburn, N.D.; a brother, Edwin, Sacramento, Calif.; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Visitation: Saturday from 3-6 and one hour before the funeral in Vertin-Munson Funeral Home, Wahpeton.

Funeral: Sunday at 1:30 in the funeral home.

Burial: Peace Lutheran Cemetery, Barney, N.D.
