I cant think of a better case for the death penalty than this one. Killing a father and destroying a little girl's already fractured family for the rest of her life...what do you tell he when she starts asking about her mom and dad? "Well, your mom passed away from illness and...your grandpa hired a man to murder your dad with a hammer because your dad gave you too many cookies after supper."

Now Kennedy's Aunt and Grandma can spend all their energy standing behind her murdering Grandpa. Thank God Kennedy will not be around the circus of trips to Fargo and eventually Prison that will be a major part of this familys future for many years to come. Kennedy deserves better.

I feel really sorry for this child. She has to adapt living with another relative and deal with another significant loss. This whole thing is a tramatic experience. It may affect her emotionally for a long time.

I am happy to finally here some good come from this tragic event.. It is so unfortunate that someone could someone's life for something as small as not raising there grandaughter the proper way, He is a sick man and he deserves everything that is coming his way,.. I hope Roy gets permenant custody of Kennedy because it sounds like he and his wife deserve it. Kennedy can be Roys constant reminder of the brother that was taken away from him for selfish reasons.
