Rachelle H, you are exactly right, it becomes a non race issue when people quit bring up race! The only people who are even talking about it being a race issue are the ones who are complaining and crying for fairness. These are the REAL racists. Lori, in the same post you said “I am not adverting the blame” and also “to have someone to blame” Talking to you is a waste of time if you can’t open your eyes and see your own contradictions in your post/ opinions/ philosophies, etc……

Hanny H!!!!! Thank you thank you. Just when was giving up, was going to leave the tunnel vision alone……… You explained exactly what i’ve been trying to. At least someone out there sees that posts like that are pointless. You are right, a lot of people are making up circumstances that are just speculations.

Sorry I am going over your heads Oliver and Hannity(?), let me take it slow and I am not averting the blame. it is quite possible that people contributed to his intoxication and because he was a minor, laws could have been broken. We do not know how he got the alcohol but I feel that is an issue that should be looked into. Once this is known, then if laws were broken in providing alcohol to a minor, those responsible should face the penalties associated with breaking the law. In addition, the family would be able to have someone to blame who truely contributed to the situation.

I’m confused as what your point is exactly lori? The situation is what it is. You can’t start throwing around “supposed” responsibility. Am I missing where it said that he found someone to buy him alcohol?

Lori, im saying that there is a reason that is not being “focused on much” is because it has NO weight in this situation or RELEVANCE. No, they do not have some responsibility. What responsibility do you think they would have? Or should take? And again, that is just speculation, that is practically just making something up. Because YOU DON’T KNOW how he became intoxicated. It is/ was HIS OWN choice to become intoxicated, it is irresponsible to try to advert the blame to someone else. I know it is popular in today’s society to do so… but that doesn’t make it right.

Oliver, you are reading a whole lot more into my posts than I put there. The final blame in this whole situation falls on the choices made to drink that much alcohol and then go into someone else's home. BUT, the fact is he was a minor who somehow got alcohol, something that has not been focused on much. Providing that alcohol to a minor is illegal so if that is what someone did, don't they also have some responsibility in this situation? If a bar keeps serving to someone visibly drunk and then they go out and kill someone drunk driving, the bar has some responsibilty, thus if there is someone who helped him get this drunk, don't they also share in the responsibility?
