Moorhead, Clay County prepare for government shutdown

MOORHEAD – City, county and nonprofit leaders say they are hopeful but prepared for cuts in the wake of a looming government shutdown. “We’re hopeful still that we’ll find some reasonable compromise in the next four days,” said Eventide President Jon Riewer. “In the event that doesn’t happen, we’ve been doing a fair amount of planning at the local and at the state levels.”
