Kathleen HagenBorn February 28, 1912, in Walcott, North Dakota, Kathleen Otterson grew up on a farm. She married Gordon Hagen upon his return from service.
After farming several years around Walcott, the couple moved to Fargo where Kathleen began her career as a seamstress working with many of the area’s leading interior designers. Her beautiful artistry was admired in residences and lake homes throughout the Fargo Moorhead area. She was especially proud of the inaugural alter and pulpit hangings created for the new Olivet Lutheran Church – many of which are still displayed.
