Clifford T. Leiseth was born on January 12, 1923, in Fargo, ND, to John and Tina (Valan) Leiseth. He grew up and attended school at Rustad, MN. He farmed with his father and his brother, Marvin, near Rustad. In the 1950's he worked at Whitefish Mountain Ski Resort, Whitefish, MT, during the winters. Clifford married Phyllis Danielson on February 2, 1957, in First Lutheran Church, Fargo, ND. They made their home near Rustad, MN. Clifford and Phyllis had two sons, Timothy and Brian, who joined their father in the family farm and farmed with him until his retirement in 1985, when Clifford and Phyllis moved to One Riverside in Moorhead. Phyllis died on March 6, 2012. Clifford had served on the Hoff Lutheran Church Council and the Comstock Elevator Board. He had been an active member of the Elks Motorcycle Patrol. He loved hunting and fishing, travelling with family, and spending time at Franklin Lake. He also enjoyed watching the F.M. Red Hawks and Concordia girls' basketball. Clifford moved into Eventide in 2008. Clifford's family would like to thank the staff at Eventide for the excellent care that they provided to him.
