"Andy" Anderson was born on February 12, 1940, to Edwin A. and Gunda (Foshaug) Anderson in Fergus Falls. He grew up on the family farm south of Fergus Falls and graduated from Roosevelt High School in 1958. Andy graduated from Moorhead State University in 1963 with a degree in Accounting and Business Administration.
