Roger Alan Melvin was born on Dec. 13, 1956 in Fargo, ND, to Oral and Mary Melvin (Slauson). He grew up in Buffalo, ND, attended schools there, graduating from Buffalo High School. Roger began his career in truck driving after high school, working for several trucking companies and friends for 14 years. He then worked for Wizard Works in Arthur, ND, which he did for several years. Roger married Pat Selby on Feb. 14, 1998 in Havasu, AZ. Roger has also worked for many friends on their farms, during harvest season.
