Inger Horvik Skodje passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 27, 2012, at Bethany Homes in Fargo. Born August 28, 1929, to Ingebrigt and Ingeborg Teigland in Tysnes, Norway, she grew up in Norway and immigrated to the US in 1950. She married Eivind Horvik that same year, and they settled in Fargo-Moorhead where he taught Physics at NDSU and they raised four children.
