Pet Care: Best to put dog to sleep?
Dear Dr. Fox: We first wrote to you about our dog Loki in 2008 after we rescued him from the Animal Care & Control of NYC shelter. He was described as a 5-year-old collie mix. He was actually more like an 8-year-old Lab/pit bull mix, according to our vet. He was very anxious and seemed to be longing for a lost owner.
