Katherine Joyce Albert was born August 16, 1939, at Erie, ND, to Walter and Lucile (Brix) Albert. Katherine graduated from the Erie Public School in 1957. She attended Dakota Business College in Fargo, ND, and worked as a bookkeeper at Northwestern Supply in Moorhead, MN, for 4 years. She later worked as a bookkeeper at the Perley Farmers Cooperative Elevator from 1973 to 1997.

Pingree, age 73, of rural Georgetown, MN, died Monday, January 7, 2013, in her home under the able care of Hospice of the Red River Valley.Katherine Joyce Albert was born August 16, 1939, at Erie, ND, to Walter and Lucile (Brix) Albert.
