Erle leaves a legacy behind in his sons, David W. Johnson and wife Stacey, and their three daughters, Chelsea, Kendall, and Rylie Johnson, as well as Michael C. Johnson and wife Mousumi Johnson and their children Monica, Kailey, and Steven Johnson. Erle also leaves behind many friends and family whom he loved dearly.
