Ruben was born June 21st, 1951 in Grand Forks, ND., the 5th child of 7 born to Guadelupe and Dora (Gonzalez) Moncada. Ruben married the love of his life, Karen Visness, and together they raised their 4 children, in a home filled with love and laughter. He was a devoted husband, father, and a proud grandfather. Ruben had a larger than life personality, and a sense of humor like no other, and the world will forever be a duller place without him in it.

Ruben G. Moncada, formerly of East Grand Forks, MN., passed away Saturday Jan. 19th, 2013, in his home under the care of Hospice and surrounded by his family, after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.Ruben was born June 21st, 1951 in Grand Forks, ND., the 5th child of 7 born to Guadelupe and Dora (Gonzalez) Moncada.
