On May 25, 1963 he married Carol Brandvold at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Moorhead, MN. He worked as an estimator and buyer at Midwest Mechanical Inc. for many years, and in 1974 he was named Vice President of the sheet metal department. Frank later started his own company, Bernhardt Sheet Metal, Inc. and ran this business for 27 years.

Francis “Frank” Joseph Bernhardt, 71, Fargo, passed away on Sunday, January 27, 2013 at Essentia Health in Fargo. He was born on September 6, 1941 in Strasburg, ND to Eugene and Maggie (Roehrich) Bernhardt. He spent his childhood in Fargo.On May 25, 1963 he married Carol Brandvold at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Moorhead, MN.
