He married Eloda Christianson on July 23, 1948. After serving his time in the Army during WWII, James spent the remainder of his career in the printing business.

James W. Altringer, 85 of Fargo, ND died on Feb 1, 2013 surrounded by family at Villa Maria nursing home. James was born in Hope, ND to William and Adah on Feb 5, 1928. He is pre-deceased by his sisters Jeanette, Betty and Patty and brother Frank.He married Eloda Christianson on July 23, 1948. After serving his time in the Army during WWII, James spent the remainder of his career in the printing business.
