Stanley Lund was born June 10, 1918 to Peter and Johanne (Madsen) Lund who came to the United States from Denmark in 1907. Stanley was born on the family farm northeast of Bowdon where he was raised and educated. He was baptized and confirmed at the Bowdon Lutheran Church and his early years were spent helping his parents on the farm and doing odd jobs throughout the Bowdon community.

Lund, 94, of Alexandria, MN, formerly of Bowdon, Minot and West Fargo, passed away Monday, February 25, 2013 at the Grand Arbor Retirement Home in Alexandria.Stanley Lund was born June 10, 1918 to Peter and Johanne (Madsen) Lund who came to the United States from Denmark in 1907.
