Ruth Ann Parker RothRuth Ann Parker Roth was born in Palmyra, Iowa, on April 30, 1913, to George Frederick and Jessie May Parker. The family spent 3 years farming in St. Thomas, ND, before moving back to Des Moines, Iowa, about 1918. She was graduated from East Des Moines High School in 1932 and married Walter Roth in 1934. She spent most of her life in Des Moines, Iowa. In the late 60’s, she and her husband built their dream home on the Lake of the Ozarks near Shell Knob, MO, which they enjoyed for many years while maintaining their home in Des Moines. In 2007, she moved to Fargo, North Dakota, to live with her daughter Paula.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George Frederick and Jessie May Parker, all of her siblings and their spouses: Olive Parker Foster (Leonard), Frederick Parker (Orpha Exline), and Dale Parker (Margaret Klostad), her husband, Walter, nephew, Larry Parker, and niece, Patty Parker, as well as all six Roth in-laws and their spouses along with 6 of their children.
