Leon A. RobinsonLeon Robinson was born February 26, 1926 to parents Oliver and Thilga (Johnson) Robinson in Fargo, ND.
He worked for the railroad from 1948-1988, first for Great Northern and later for Burlington Northern. He was an excellent self-taught musician who learned how to play first on a steel guitar and then on a regular guitar. Outside of his fulltime job with the railroad, he played in a band called The Minnesota Wood Choppers. They played on a local radio station and also at dance jobs on the weekends. He loved his music very much, as it was a big part of his life.
