Thomas Lee Fairbanks is lead out of the Mahnomen County Courtroom Friday morning after his first court appearance in Wednesday's shooting of Mahnomen County deputy Christopher Dewey. Fairbanks' bail was set at $1 million by District Court Judge Michael Kraker.
