Alex Ratelle finished Grandma’s Marathon 21 consecutive times
Alex Ratelle, an International Falls native, finished Grandma’s Marathon 21 consecutive times starting with the inaugural 1977 race, when he ran a remarkable 2:37:32 at the age of 52. Ratelle died Sunday. He was 87. (1978 file / News Tribune)
