Laura Roesler, right, walks with her sister, Emily, after finishing her high school running career by winning the 800-meter dash at the North Dakota State Track and Field meet in Bismarck in May 2010. Emily has been a runner for NDSU’s track team, and Laura now runs for the Division I University of Oregon track team and competed in the Olympic trials this summer.
