Char Skaff of Moorhead

Char Skaff of Moorhead, turned 13 the day President Kennedy was assassinated. Instead of celebrating with friends after school with a scavenger hunt, she and her friends sat around the TV and watched for hours. A twist of fate had her in front of the TV again on Sunday morning, instead of with her family at church and she said she witnessed the shooting of Lee Harvey Oswald, JFK’s assassination. From every big event from the OJ verdict to 9/11, Skaff has been watching the news unfold ever since. She has a television on in her kitchen as she bakes cookies, Thursday, November 21, 2013, at her home in Moorhead. Dave Wallis / The Forum
