There was a simpler time when the National Football league was only16 teams and not the Madden video game, 24-7 hype soap opera machine that it is today. To replicate your gridiron idols you had to actually go outside, gather up your friends and play some real football. Wearing your favorite team helmet from the NFL or rival AFL was the way to go. The Rawlings company made these helmets with the classic 1960's two bar facemasks so you could be at your best pretending to be Minnesota's Fran Tarkenton or Green Bay's Bart Starr.
