Freeman Virginia E. Freeman, 90, passed away December 29, 2006 in Keizer, Oregon of congestive heart failure.

Freeman Virginia E. Freeman, 90, passed away December 29, 2006 in Keizer, Oregon of congestive heart failure. She is sadly missed by her children, their families, and her friends. Virginia was born July 4, 1916 in Flasher, ND to Frank and Irma Tischler. She married Loran Willis Freeman January 25, 1942 in Moorhead, MN and they resided in Fargo, North Dakota. Virginia was the organist for the RLDS Church in Fargo, ND until June, 1963 when they moved to Portland, OR. She was a very accomplished/talented pianist/organist which she enjoyed very much. Her husband preceded her in death on August 20, 1969, in Portland, OR. Virginia is loved and survived by three sons and one daughter: Leland (Lee) W. Freeman and his wife Anita, of Olympia, WA.; Franklin (Frank) R. Freeman of Lee’s Summit, MO; Kenneth G. (Gibby) Freeman, residence unknown; and Leighann E. Burt and her husband Bryan of Three Rivers, TX. She is also loved and survived by six grandchildren: Amy Freeman Callaway, Lance W. Freeman, Wendy Freeman Roth, Loran F Freeman, Jason Welch, and Sariah Welch Lopez. She also is loved and survived by ten great-grandchildren: Christian, Riley and Alison Freeman; Jackson, Perri and Marin Callaway; Thompson and Carson Roth; Jesse F. Freeman; and Matthew B. Welch. Sisters Betty Drenkowski and Imogene Vanderewall and brother Kenneth Tischler and his wife AlmaLou, all of Portland, OR, survive her all of whom love her. Per Virginia’s request no Services were held. Cremation was handled by V.T. Golden Mortuary Inc., Salem, OR. Condolences may be sent to freeman70@sbcglobal.net.
