Scott Lon Arnhold, 29 of Moorhead, on Friday, July 11th, 2008 courageously lost his battle against cancer at home in Moorhead, Minnesota. He ended his journey surrounded by his wife, Lanessa; son Lucas; and family and friends.

Scott was born on January 16th, 1979 in Fargo, North Dakota. Scott grew up in Nevis, MN on Lake Belle Taine at Run Away Bay Lodge. He attended Nevis Public School and graduated in 1997. Scott married Lanessa M. LaVigne on June 18th, 2005 at Blueberry Pines near Park Rapids, and they made their home in Moorhead. They gave birth to Lucas on July 27th, 2007. While his time was short with his son, nothing brightened up Scott’s smile like little Lucas. Scott and Lanessa share many common interests, mainly Lanessa’s cooking. They enjoyed many outdoor concerts especially ones that featured Journey. Scott worked for SpaceAge Synthetics in Fargo for the past 8 years.

Scott loved the outdoors and was an avid outdoorsman and could usually be found hunting or fishing. He loved being out on the lake trollin’ for the big Northerns, ice fishing for the big crappies, and always shooting the big bucks. He found the most joy in all of this when he was with his friends. In the fall, he always looked forward to his annual pheasant hunting trips with Ron and Jason in Forman, North Dakota. If he wasn’t catching the big ones, he loved driving his Arctic Cat snowmobile down the trails. He enjoyed many trips to Yellowstone and Colorado with his dad snowmobiling and skiing. Scott loved being on the lakes and many of his best memories have taken place there. Scott was a true family man and often brought the family together. He was always at his happiest when everyone could be there with each other. These events always included a smile on his face and a Bud Light in his hands.
