Richard Conold "Dick" Miller, 71, of Moorhead, MN passed away on Friday, January 2, 2009.

Dick was born on January, 28, 1937 in Muskogee, OK and spent his early years growing up in a number of cities including, Mexico City, Mexico, Mitchell, SD and Cincinnati, OH. Dick settled in Moorhead, MN in 1954, graduating from Moorhead High School. On September 13, 1958 he married Cleo Burros and raised their two children, Martin and Christopher.

Dick worked in the Fargo-Moorhead construction industry for 50 years. His leisure time was spent supporting his sons' endeavors in hockey and music while faithfully cheering on (yelling at) his Minnesota Twins and Vikings.

With Dick's love of cooking, the Miller kitchen was always open. He was happy to feed anyone who appreciated good food and laughs. He enjoyed spending time with friends, family and in his later years watching his grandchildren grow. Dick was never far from his wife Cleo, enjoying 50 years of marriage.

Preceded in death by: his parents, Neva and Harry Miller and his sister, Virginia McRae.

Survived by: wife, Cleo, son Marty (Tammy) of Edina, MN and son Chris (Katie) of Sydney, Australia; grandchildren, Ali, Jack and Joe Miller of Edina, MN and Caroline Miller of Sydney, Australia.

Visitation: Tuesday, January 6, 2008, from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m., in Wright Funeral Home, Moorhead, MN.

Funeral: Wednesday, January 7, 2008, at 11:00 a.m., in Wright Funeral Home, Moorhead, MN.

Interment: Riverside Cemetery, Moorhead, MN.
