Alice Mildred (Croninger) Paasch, 91, of Moorhead, MN passed away on Monday, January 6, 2009.
Alice was born on June 9, 1917 in Grygla, MN to Joseph and Ellen (Maney) Paasch. She grew up and went to school in Grygla. She worked at various jobs in Grygla and Thief River Falls and Woolworth Store in Moorhead. On October 19, 1947 she married Albert in Grace Lutheran Church, Fargo, ND. They lived in Sabin until moving to Moorhead in 2000. In 2002, Alice and Albert moved to Eventide in Moorhead and to Elim Care Center in Fargo in 2004. Alice was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Sabin.
She was preceded in death by her husband, sister, Agnes Connelly, and brothers, Kenneth Croninger and Floyd Croninger.
She is survived by sisters-in-law Velma Sauvaugeau of Horace, ND, Elsie Amundsen of Abercrombie, ND, and Margie Paasch of Moorhead, MN; many nieces and nephews, including a special nephew, Jerome (Pam) Ekre, of Hawley, MN.
Memorials are preferred to Hospice of the Red River Valley.
Visitation: Monday, January 12, 2009 from 1:00 to 2:00p.m., in Wright Funeral Home, Moorhead, MN.
Funeral Service: Monday, January 12, 2009 at 2:00p.m., in Wright Funeral Home, Moorhead, MN.
Interment: Trinity Lutheran Cemetery Sabin, MN
