Arthur John Pedro Heald, age 32 of Coon Rapids, MN, died June 3, 2011. Funeral services were on June 8 with burial on June 12 at Glen Cary Lutheran Church in Ham Lake, MN.

Arthur John Pedro Heald, age 32 of Coon Rapids, MN, died June 3, 2011. Funeral services were on June 8 with burial on June 12 at Glen Cary Lutheran Church in Ham Lake, MN.

Arty was born in Bogota, Colombia, on July 26, 1978. He was adopted as an infant by Stuart and Donna (Moore) Heald. The family lived in Mt. Pleasant, IA until moving to Moorhead, MN in 1986. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Moorhead and the Boy Scouts of America. Arty graduated from Moorhead High School in 1997. He attended MSCTC and graduated from the Minneapolis School of Drafting. He worked as a draftsman and designer in the Minneapolis area.

Arty’s true loves of his life are his wife, Amanda Killebrew, and their 3 year old son, Piercen. Arty enjoyed being with his family and friends. He participated in many organized outdoor sports. He was an avid Steeler’s fan. Arty was a sincere, genuine, accepting, and loyal person with his family and friends. Throughout Arty’s valiant 20 month fight with a rare form of kidney cancer, he never lost courage, spirit, or strength.

Arty is survived by his wife: Amanda, son: Piercen, mother and step-father: Donna and Pat Clark; sister: M.E. Heald (Matt Hovey), mom and dad in-law: Mike and Sandy Killebrew; sister in-law: Michelle Killebrew, “other” sister: Carey (Jeff) Huebert, four step-siblings: Blaine Clark, Carrie (Robert) Clark-Tupa, Aaron Clark (Sean Conley), and Danielle (Josh) Ranek plus his aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and countless friends. Arty was preceded in death by his father: Stuart Heald, twin brother: Robert John Pablo, grandparents: Donald and Margret Moore, and grandparents: Kenneth and Abbie Heald.

Arty will be missed beyond measure, his memory forever cherished, and his love forever with his family and friends.
