Ronald "Leo" Hayden

Ronald "Leo" Eugene Hayden died Saturday, September 15, 2012 in Houston, TX.

Ron was born September 28, 1950 in Wichita, KS. He lived his first six years in the Salina, KS area then moved to Alexandria, MN where he graduated from high school. He then went on to attend Fergus Falls Jr. College.

Ronald "Leo" Eugene Hayden died Saturday, September 15, 2012 in Houston, TX.

Ron was born September 28, 1950 in Wichita, KS. He lived his first six years in the Salina, KS area then moved to Alexandria, MN where he graduated from high school. He then went on to attend Fergus Falls Jr. College.

Ron was an ambitious person, always working and making his own way. He worked at shingling roofs and then moving the finished houses to their land locations with Dynamic Homes, and later sort of fell into truck driving. Most recently, he worked for Giere Trucking, Detroit Lakes. He loved trucking, and meeting up with friends and relatives on his trips.

Ron was a devoted and heartwarming son, and had tons of friends. He resided in Lake Park, MN.

Ron is survived by his mother, Verlene Hayden of Apple Valley, MN; brothers, Kyle (Debbie) Hayden of Thousand Oaks, CA, and Quay (Karen) Hayden of Burnsville, MN;and sisters, Vergene (Pete) Robertson of Aitkin, MN, and Sonja (Mike) Schultz of Mound, MN.

Ron was preceded in death by his father, Eugene Hayden.
